Product Description
DUSTER is a systemic herbicide containing Imazethapyr 10% SL, designed for pre- and early post-emergence weed control. Belonging to the imidazolinone group, it offers both contact and residual action, effectively targeting a wide range of broadleaf and grassy weeds in crops like soybean, groundnut, and pulses.
DUSTER works by inhibiting the Acetolactate Synthase (ALS) enzyme—an essential catalyst for the production of proteins within plants. This inhibition results in the disruption of DNA synthesis, preventing cell division and growth. Consequently, the treated weeds cease to grow and eventually die, ensuring the main crop flourishes without competition.
Its dual absorption by both roots and leaves ensures deep, long-lasting control, enhancing field hygiene and boosting crop yields.
